Attitude (Competition and Life)
Big competition time is upon Bushido! The team has adults and kids competing in Indianapolis and New York City next week.
Adults and kids face many of the same challenges when competing. Being prepared for any scenario in training makes you ready for competition time!
What do you do when things don’t go your way?
When training feels off…
When people say things that get under your skin…
When you're tired, frustrated, or stuck…
The answer is always the same:
Attitude.
Anyone can have a good attitude when things are going well.
That’s easy.
But it’s your attitude during the bad days that really shapes who you are – not just as a fighter, but as a person.
Can you stay calm when the roll doesn’t go your way?
Can you keep your faith when life hits you hard?
Your mental attitude becomes your physical attitude.
It shapes how you walk, how you train, how you speak, how you treat others.
So next time you're frustrated or disappointed – whether on the mats or off – ask yourself:
"What does a champion do right now?"
And then act like it.
That’s how we grow and become the leader we were created to be that goes for kids AND adult class!
I am a big "sayings" guy - this one has always stuck.
YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR ALTITUDE
